Frank Brown Delivers prides itself on offering a personal and friendly service to our customers. It's only fair, therefore, that we tell you a little bit about ourselves.
Frank Brown
I was brought up and educated in Alton, Hampshire before moving to Surrey at the age of 17. Between 1981 and 2004 I worked for a courier company in the Croydon area, eventually becoming a director of the company. It was during my time there that I met Gill (see below) and we married in 1994.
In 2004 I decided to start my own courier business, Frank Brown Delivers. I have always had very exacting standards and I don't believe in cutting corners at the expense of a job well done. I have always believed that this philosophy will bring its own success.
My main leisure activities are golf (which I play very badly), snooker (which I play a bit better) and Southampton football club (someone has to support them!). I also belong to an amateur dramatic society and have taken part in three productions over the last three years - including playing Pop Larkin in a production of "The Darling Buds of May". This was great fun. Look out David Jason!
Gill Brown
Frank and I met some seventeen years ago at a courier company and it could be said that our lives are inextricably linked to the courier industry. That's another story, however, which may become the subject of one of my blog posts one of these days! Otherwise, my background is in admin and accounts and for eighteen years I worked in the intriguing world of puzzle magazine publishing.
Most recently, I returned to night school to study Sage computerised accounting and was delighted to be awarded first class passes in levels 1 to 3.
We share our home with Poppy, our cat, and Che & Fidel, two rescued rabbits who just happen to be sisters - another long story!
